The Noise

Let's start here.

I never knew I would be into Substack as a platform. But here I am. I have a email list that I share general updates with, but I find that it’s very specific to one type of output. Most of my audience is tuned in for my design/illustration specific work, but there is plenty of other work that informs that.

With so much noise out there — social media algorithm battles an all — I wanted a space to focus on the exploration I do all the time. My influences, sketches, inspiration, thoughts, a slower speed for real connection. My habit is to think in forming a series - a hold out from my days doing printmaking. I will be using this space to dive into the process and ideas behind projects that scroll by in a regular feed. Let’s pause on the noise and make real connections.

I’ll be adding a Weekly post archive until i’m caught up, and writing some long form posts in-between.
