Stackables
It’s an easy enough trap to set for yourself. A long to do list, anxiety, too many things being ask of you. It stacks up. I’ve fallen into the busy trap too many times. Then I kick myself when I look back and think deeply about what should have been the priority. Two key things I know for sure—remove the pressure, it’s self inflicted after all, and I’m only human and capable of only so much. Plan for yourself, and give yourself grace, don’t keep stacking things on.
I Don’t Surf
So long summer (for real). Summers fly bye so quickly now. It’s suddenly too hot, and as soon as my body adjusts, its suddenly too cold. Illustration number five in this ‘Phone Home’ series. Shaping up nicely, and still fun to play around with ideas.
🎧 Music Vibes
Haven’t been finding anything new that’s settled in yet. I tend to listen to instrumentals/beat tapes a lot, “99.9” by Kaytranada and his follow up “Bubba” capture so much of that chill/upbeat vibe with catchy lyrics to match from amazing features. I revisit these when I need a boost.
