Don’t Call it a Come Back?
I’ve had a creative practice (habit?) for quite some time. It’s apart of what I do every day, beyond my full-time job. I once gave myself the task of posting five times a week, as an outlet to get over the fear of sharing ideas, to figure out new skillsets and build a habit of doing vs. over thinking. After about a year I was burnt out, and life got busy. Algorithms changed. The covid wave hit. Always being ‘on’ is not sustainable.
I’ve always kept the habit - minus the pressure to keep up with pleasing algorithms. Loose sketches, freelance work, exploring recurring themes—ideas that have been gathering in a folder waiting to be shared.
I’m a husband and father, working full-time—life is zooming, but I do my best to block out that personal time to create something. I started sharing again this week. A few quotes that I had jotted down on my phone, that I think are memorable.
That's it for this week. Stay Wonderful
